- Business case per scenario
- Practical roadmap with clear milestones
Mobility Switch helps you build one strategy that covers both: a smarter, electrified fleet where a car is the right tool, and attractive alternatives where it isn’t. All of it aligned with your cost targets, your sustainability commitments and what your employees actually need.
Why a fleet and mobility strategy now
Company car taxation is changing in many countries, emission rules and zero-emission zones are tightening, and electrification is reshaping the total cost of ownership. At the same time, employees increasingly expect choice, and new services, from car sharing to multimodal travel apps, are maturing fast. Organisations that decide country by country and contract by contract end up with rising costs and policies that no longer fit. A clear strategy lets you choose deliberately: which roles keep a car, what that car should be, and what you offer everyone else.
What you gain
A well-developed strategy delivers measurable results for your organisation.
- Lower total cost: the right mix of company cars, pool cars, shared vehicles and alternatives, based on real usage
- Credible CO₂ reduction: an electrification path for your fleet plus low-carbon options for commuting and business travel
- Employees who stay: choices that fit different roles, life stages and commutes
- One direction across countries: a framework that works for headquarters and local entities alike
- Fewer surprises: anticipating tax, legislation and market changes instead of reacting to them
Our approach
We start with the facts: your current fleet and mobility costs, contracts, usage, employee needs and sustainability targets. We benchmark these against market practice and build scenarios side by side, from optimising and electrifying the existing fleet to introducing a mobility budget or a full multimodal offer, or a phased mix of both. We bring your stakeholders together (HR, Finance, Procurement, Sustainability and employee representatives), calculate the business case for each scenario and translate the chosen direction into a practical roadmap with clear milestones.
Why Mobility Switch
We know both sides of the market. Our founder spent more than 13 years in director-level roles at LeasePlan International, led fleet & mobility projects across 50 countries on an interim basis, and chaired the Smart Mobility Institute in Brussels. We understand the economics of the company car as well as the promise, and the practical limits, of the alternatives. And we are independent: no ties to lease companies or mobility providers, so our only interest is a strategy that works for you.
